 New Mexico has been on my mind since 1989, when I worked as a cheesecake maker at a bakery in Altadena, CA.  The owner, my boss, had a romantic relationship in which Santa Fe figured heavily.  She’d really talk it up and it wasn’t long before i flew there for four days and fell hard for it, too.  Yes, Santa Fe has changed a lot since 1989.  I wish i had visited it earlier and yet, the last time I was there, in 2022, it’s still beautiful and wonderful.

 No place is like New Mexico.
