There’s a small enclosed beach north of Lahaina, Maui called Slaughterhouse Beach.  I heard a couple different stories about the name and i need to check it out but it is secluded, tropical and beautiful. I also heard a waiter at Lahaina Pizza Company say he smashed his ear surfing out at Slaughterhouse Beach and after a month it still wasn’t working properly.

More than anything else on this continual feast for the eyeballs, i was wow’ed by the large green moss covered rocks in the ultramarine surf.  Saturated, glassy colors.  Violent, frothy, windy.  And swishy.  Very swishy.
