The Mystical Arts, Crafts and Intuitives Fair

This was the first art showing of several pieces I’ve done in about 5 years.
To begin with, the lighting in this small conference room in this Holiday Inn Express in Oro Valley, Arizona was outstanding. I should shoot all my work there when they’re not looking. Hahaha.
It turned out I was the only fine artist at the fair. There were psychics - who were very busy. Jewelry and crystals. I got my chakras balanced by Sharon Greenspan, a board certified Holisitic Health Practitioner - had some gut and throat blockage going on and the animal communicator, Kat Riegel, told me that Kai thinks he’s smarter than he actually is (lol) and loves to watch the glow around me when i paint. (He sits in an old brown wicker chair behind me while i work). We also worked out his issues with the dog park and grooming.
This was a very good venue for me to get back in the swing of things as it was small, well planned and local. Some good friends came by to show support and i met some cool people.
Did i sell anything? No, not that day. But I truly look at these events as seed planting and I absolutely know that down the line this show was meaningful - if not for anything else but to get me back out there and create opportunities for myself.
PLUS I had time to design my Christmas cards while listening to a gravelly voiced, blondish- grayish hippie psychic inform a young, tattooed-all-over woman that her abusive boyfriend was going to get worse, very soon and that he was cheating on her. At first I felt sorry for her and then i thought…Knowledge is power!
This venue is open again the first Saturday in December and I’m considering doing it again since it’s close by and has good people.
Time to paint.
